If You've Experienced A Loss
You May Find Coping With Your Loss And The Ensuing Grief To Be Difficult
Grief Support Groups Can Help
Coping with loss is challenging, and can affect all areas of your life. If you’ve experienced the death of a loved one, you don’t have to deal with it alone. Through the help of grief support groups, you can better cope with your loss and begin to heal.
Why are grief support groups so beneficial?
- They allow you to communicate your feelings to an unbiased group of listeners
- You can hear from others also having difficulty in dealing with the death of a loved one
- Through your groups’ commonality of loss, you’re better able to share and openly express your thoughts, and lend helpful support to others in your group
Support groups for grief allow you to share and interact with others, so you don’t have to cope alone.
H.O.P.E. Unit Foundation offers a number of support groups for grief that meet at various locations, days and times. Members of these support groups are coping with loss just like you.
Led by licensed therapists, all H.O.P.E. Unit Foundation support groups are professionally trained in grief support. Working as a team, they lead participants to share feelings and experiences. Through these groups, participants are able to receive the kind of understanding and support they need to better cope with loss.

Be soft in your practice. Think of the method as a fine silvery stream, not a raging waterfall. Follow the stream, have faith in its course. It will go its own way, Meandering here, trickling there. It will find the grooves, the cracks, the crevices. Just follow it. Never let it out of your sight, It will take you.
